O.A.S.I.S. is a strategic framework for deriving methods at the operational level. This paradigm can be applied to military or business campaigns, medical work, engineering pursuits, scientific research or any organizational decision making processes to mine and arrive at solutions.

Gather what you have — i.e. conduct resource listing and data collection on the situation you are facing. The information and data you gathered is not applicable knowledge. To obtain decisive insight, you need to Analyze.
2. Analysis
Understand, set and determine the process to work out your situation. Work towards the requirements with the objectives defined and clarify what will bring you to a desired state. This can be derived from the gap between your current situation and your ideal, which is clearly your pain.
