I heard of the term `Esôterikos` from some magicians that there exists some groups such as The International Brotherhood of Magicians that opposed the exposure of magicians’ secrets and the cruel treatment of animals for the sake of entertainment. I was also told about Pythagoras (circa 580–500 B.C.) who founded a school in southern Italy. This school, now called the Pythagoreans, was a secret society and would most likely be label as a cult today. The symbol of the Pythagoreans was a pentagram star. These groups understands the difference knowledge can make and guarded their lore fiercely. I had also met teachers who adamantly refuse to impart some skills and knowledge on the fear that the may be misused or abused. Some teachers insisted that I should never write down the information they impart to me and only to pass it down with rigorous discretion to very few students selectively behind closed doors. Some results in the permanent loss of the knowledge. The question is where is the optimally?
