Reasons Why We Fail
Most people share the same mistakes which they refuse to admit.
- If you don’t believe it, you won’t even try.
If you can’t convince that it is going to happen — that is even possible, chances are — you are not going to even try. Fatalism is the onset of defeatism.
The problem does not disturb me as much as the denial of the problem.
2. You think, “what if it’s not worth it?”

Perhaps there is a possibility, but what if it is a pyrrhic victory? Your minds will be looking for other defeatist or pareidolic reasons to further justify your decision that it is not worth it, and you will convince yourself out of it.

3. You are in safe zone.

Why should you lose what you have now, or rather, why dig for trouble? You could be very comfy and warm in your current life, so why invite trouble?
4. You take the easy way out.
… which usually leads back in.
5. You have already too much to bear.

Perhaps, life is already too much for you. It’s not much of a comfy zone, but you have too much to bear. You can’t afford much, and you cannot afford further — including further risks.
