Emptiness And The Abyss
One day when the past is over, you will feel disconnected, disoriented and at loss. You identify your story to the past that is gone and dead. You will feel that time is pushing you forward, and you have absolutely no control over it. You have a past you cannot grasp and you cannot return to. Your road ahead is thrown to the howling fog and it seems to come to an end at any time. The feeling of emptiness will set in. The question is why is this happening?
That inescapable darkness that some of us are entrapped in for so long, some lifelong, have made us forgotten if we are even yet alive at all.
People are drowning and wrestling in sorrows, because they are in the mire of the normalizing tragedies. The sad stories that we heard, they all affect us in deep ways, but it hurts the most when they are our own experiences, not just because it is most palpable to memory, we identify with them. We feel responsible for them and the ownership becomes our identify. Hence, it is not just that these experiences are true, they are relevant to our focus. Hence, the pain deepens and persist. It becomes — us.
Usually fear and sorrow has our attention, we have to find a way to gain back that control. The way out of panic is to gain confidence step-wise methodologically.
