I led a few men on a Friday night in 2002 on grueling long distance run. I reflected 50 things from the journey.

1) You can lose your team in the run, but don’t lose your focus.

2) Keep in mind that we have the same destination, everyone wants to succeed.

3) Plan ahead. Use your energy wisely, plan rest to recuperate.

4) Be ever ready. Expect the unexpected. There will be situation you can’t stance up for.

5) Don’t listen to critics and dream crushers; just get on with the journey and the faith that needs to be covered.

6) Run your future in a long run, look further beyond the point of what you see, you will be able to discern the destination.

7) For synergy’s sake, travel in a team.

8) Speed isn’t always an advantage. Composure is everything.

9) When you’re feel like breaking down, take your journey on a stroll. When life cramps up on you. Loosen up.

10) Momentum builds momentum. Inertia rest on inertia.

11) It matters not how far the journey, but what thoughts you pick up on the way.

12) Don’t assume you are absolutely right. You may be on the left … Dizzy.

13) You stretch beyond your limits, you are going for the sky.

14) Muscles conditioned today, takes on a better shape and a further journey tomorrow.
