Innovation is a form of wizardry. It delivers the Prometheus fire to mortal manifestation, of what was formerly not there to realization. Wizardry is about transformation, and it brings to reality what was not there.
They used to call us ‘wizards’. Today, they called us ‘scientists and engineers’.
A friend asked me to help him envisage the link between strategy and innovation. In all strategy and innovation, the minimal targets are Efficiency, Effectiveness and Efficacy. The pursuit is to attain the levels that were formerly unreached.
Efficiency : The minimization of input, the maximization of yield.
Effectiveness : The tendency to create the effect.
Efficacy : No matter the effort, if the designated event does not occur, this is not attained.
While playfully codifying strategy with courtship to help another friend, I thought of giving it a try.
