The first step to improving ourselves is to come to a realization that we are failed humans. We cannot correct a mistake, a flaw or an inadequacy that we are not aware of and do not admit.
People are not higher or lower. They only seem so by becoming more well-informed, well-aware and well-conditioned.
People tend to put up resistance to certain changes. They tend to be slothful in journalizing to track their progress. Ego and pride gets in the way, failure soon precedes. They have to acknowledge that brainpower like muscle power takes some toil to gain the grit and finesse. Primarily, the moral and ennobling purpose is to propel ourselves and everyone to live beyond their self-limiting mindset and set towards the becoming of superior beings.
