I was told that human live between the concept of being a gold fish and a robot. The gold fish lives on a momentarily basis, it feeds and forgets — the very reason why it may eat itself to death. The robot has no concept of time other than the system clock onboard. It works monotonously, not caring for the memories of yesteryears nor to put any hopes for tomorrow.

Most people make that mistake that they think that living is merely about staying alive.

Now, if there is any form of long term motivation which can be qualified as purpose for these 2 creatures that keeps them moving or moving forward, it would be instinctive, but what about that human in between? Why is this ‘purpose’ so important for human? Why does it bites us to feel that void?

Human commonly feel the sense of inadequacy and insufficiency. This void drives them to look for was to feel their days and lives — such as to stake up their minds with materials and senses with food and other pleasures, but those shortlived sensuality dies off fast. Living like a fish, they struggle on a day-to-day basis — with what they face and see on a daily, yet unable to grapple with the rules defined by the common society, they found themselves…
