Conditioning Hypercognizance, Hyperawareness, Hypervigilance, and Hyperalertness

It’s dangerous to have no knowledge, wrong knowledge as well as incomplete knowledge.

Cognizance is the ability to capture and encapsulate situational awareness by being fully informed and having comprehensive understanding of the circumstances while awareness is the faculty to attain vigilance or on one’s guard against danger or difficulty. However, being cognizance does not mean being prepared and conditioned. Clarity must come with preparedness. Strategic detection and reaction must be in place. Operational readiness only comes when vigilance and alertness are put to the test to be assured to be able to react and respond. Cognizance and awareness are part of the ability to reflect and subsume the perspectives, while to vigilance and alertness are in terms of the ability to condition reflex to respond and react.

The cognizant embodies wide spectrum scenarios, and perceives with clarity the possibilities of the situation they will be met with. Hence, facilities will be within the design to handle and manage them. Knowledge is their key characteristic. This pertains to the faculty of ‘know-what’.

The aware prepares for the mental mode for the situations perceived. They set the discipline to train and drill their faculties for the situation handling…
