Chapter 9. Mind-map and Loci-Method

Your mind can construct scenes, as you would have experienced and conditioned in Chapter 8. Learning Mental Imaging. Here we will construct mental terrains and relate the loci method to mind-mapping.

The fundamental principle of using the rooms in our home is an example of Loci method. You can also use the journey from home to school or work or the memory lane to the house of your sweetheart, In any case, the landmarks are the key mnemonic symbols that help our memory to peg the information. The walk in that memory lane requires it to be vivid. You must `feel` the physical presence.

This chapter assumes your `Centum Amici` system has the Loci-factor ready, that is, each of your character has a unique place. If not, start collecting images and do the `Holodeck` stroll until it is a smooth walk in the `mental` park.

Sample exercise:
1. Try a stroll in the city where you live. `Holodeck` a city where people have mysteriously disappear, leaving the city to you. How does it look…
